To those you are interested in thinking about life’s questions:

My name is Pamela Pike Gordinier.  I am an artist and am working on an exhibition for the Alexey von Schlippee Gallery of Art at the University of Connecticut’s Avery Point Campus.

I am hoping that you will consider taking a few moments of your time to participate in this project.  Since my artwork is driven by questions and observations, I am interested in collecting your response to the following question,

“If there is a God, what one question would you ask?”

The answers from the participants will be compiled and documented.  Your name will not be attached to your question, but I would like to, with your permission, include your name in the documentation of this project.

The results will be part of an installation at the gallery, which will be on display from March 7th to April  20th .  There will be an opening reception on March 14th, 6-8pm and an artist talk on April 16th at 6pm.

I will be collecting email responses from October 1 to December 31st, 2007.   After you send me your question, I ask that you send this letter to people who you think would respond. Hopefully, they will then email me their question.

It is difficult for me to anticipate the number of responses that I will receive, but if possible I hope to post the results on my website www.lordshillstudio.com after the close of the exhibit.  In the end, I am curious about what questions we have that are universal and illustrate our connection to each other.   I hope that you will be part of this discussion.

Please send your question to lordshillstudio@sbcglobal.net

Thank you,  Pamela Pike Gordinier  10/1/07
