Inspired
by imagined reality, my work builds upon multiple layers of
selective memory and shifting perceptions. Sensuous
palpable color, semi-abstract shapes & varied mediums are
used to challenge the mind and awaken the senses.
The
content & form in my work is diverse, dependant upon my
intention. It is driven by my method of working from
questions that struggle with our view of the world in which
we live and our place within it.
Identity
is a recurrent theme as I explore it in relationship to a
sense of place or societal issues.
Ultimately, I seek awareness that reveals, discloses and
exposes, calling for self-reflection.
